How our On Demand solution works: |

The technologies used in our applications make it possible to ensure compliance while making it possible to manage it all easily without having to shuffle paper.
Data is entered by using an easy and simple user interface on devices using any browser. These can be mounted terminals on equipment like forklifts, hand held industrial computers, smart phones, tablets or desk top computers.
Data is transmitted through your current RF/WiFi network, wired network or using a cellular network.
Data is stored by SG at a secured, 24/7 supported SAS 70 SSAE 16 and/or international standard ISAE 3402 audited, remotely hosted site. You have access through a secured customer portal for minimally required data entry (vehicle ID’s for instance).
Reports are accessed by an admin account through your customer portal and can be printed locally or handled through any means at your disposal. For instance you can download the report to Excel and manipulate the data any way you wish. You can download the complete report, convert it to PDF and email it.
Alerts can be set up by you through your portal. Alerts can be sent via email, FAX, text message or even Twitter. When any User's safety compliant session results in a “Failure”, alerts are immediately sent. |

Scenario:
Part of Bob’s get ready routine for working in the warehouse is to do a Safety Pre-Trip™ on the forklift he will use today. This is mandated by OSHA. He checks out the vehicle first. To start the data collection process he touches the Forklift icon on his mounted terminal’s opening screen. The terminal connects to the SGSG server and Bob enters his Username and Password by scanning the bar coded information on his employee badge. In the process of answering simple questions like “Brakes OK?” by touching big ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ buttons he fails the brakes. At the end of the short program he is asked to confirm the failure. When he confirms it, the application stores the data and sends an alert to three places determined by Bob’s boss: 1) the boss gets a Tweet that “Unit 123 failed for Brakes, by Bob, 7:35AM, 9/2”, and 2) the service department at the local forklift dealer is notified by email, and 3) the ‘in-house’ maintenance department is also emailed. Bob’s boss is rethinking the maintenance notification process; maybe he will get the maintenance guy a smart phone, or one that can be used also as a ‘Walkie Talkie’. No problem, he can and SGSG’s alert system will seamlessly adjust and Bob can add the maintenance guy to a ‘Tweet” alert too.
